PHOSZYME - 5000A NEW GENERATION OF HEAT STABLE PHYTASE Phoszyme-5000 is used to improve phosphorus utilization in feeds for poultry, swine and other monogastric animals by breaking down phytin that binds phosphorus in plant materials. It benefits the swine and poultry industries by reducing feed costs, as dietary phosphorus levels can be reduced with no loss in performance. This will also lead to reduced pollution caused by undigested phosphorus in animal waste.
Specification: Phytase Activity: minimum 5,000 units/gram.Loss on Drying (3 hours/106°C): max. 8% Stability: Cenzone utilizing cutting-edge biotechnology in gene discovery and gene expression is now able to provide phytase of the highest quality with enhanced heat stability. Phoszyme-5000 is superior to some other commercial products of granulated formulation with coating. Phoszyme-5000 is stable when stored at room temperature (20-25°C). Over 90% of its activity is preserved after storage at room temperature for more than 12 months. Other Advantages: Phoszyme-5000 is resistant to pepsin and pancreatic trypsin digestion . Phoszyme-5000 has an optimum pH of 5.0 and exhibits relatively high activity from pH 2.0 to 6.0. Since pH in the stomach of livestock has a value of 2.0 - 3.0, and the average pH in the intestine is 5.0 - 6.0, Phoszyme-5000 is active throughout the entire process of digestion. |
